Hasenbank Woods is located in the within the developed areas of the City of Woodbury, but remains as a remnant oak woodland surrounded by areas formerly in tilled agriculture. SWWD and the City are using a multi-year approach to preparing the site for restoration of a maintainable oak woodland.

ISD 833 Campus Greening Projects
SWWD has partnered with the South Washington County Schools District #833 to develop Campus Greening projects at Lake Middle School, Middleton Elementary, Valley Crossing, Grey Cloud Elementary, and Cottage Grove Middle School.
